Maintenance services for curly hair usually take on average about 1 to 1.5 hours. Color and extension services range from approximately 2 to 5 hours depending on density and texture. Color transformations may take longer.

How should I arrive for my appointment?

For a curl cut, please arrive detangled — we will shampoo your hair prior to the cut. For color services, arrive with hair free of product and detangled. For a consultation, have all extensions or braids removed and hair free of heavy products.

Yes, Helix House Salon offers bridal and wedding hair styling both in salon and on location at your venue. On-site wedding services range from $750 to $2,500 depending on the time reserved. A consultation is required to book wedding services. We recommend reserving 45 to 60 days in advance.

This leave-in conditioner is designed to provide the hair with an extra layer of protection. It’s recommended for curls and kinks, or chemically treated hair. After shampooing and conditioning the hair apply a dime size amount focusing on the ends of the hair. Proceed to style. If using during the wash and go process, apply after rinsing the conditioner WITHOUT towel drying the hair. Proceed with setting agents.
